Affordable Rural Housing

We know this country faces a housing crisis which is having a big impact on rural areas. The new government are focusing in on this with plans for building far more new homes in our county. Adults are leaving rural areas as they’re unable to afford their first home, older people needing to downsize are leaving their support networks due to unsuitable housing options, and businesses are struggling to hire and retain employees due to a lack of affordable housing. Whilst the subject is complex, the certainty is empowered communities leading the decision making on exactly what affordable housing is needed, and where, is the only way forward. The Parish would like to engage with you and acquire your views with regards to local housing requirements.

On Thursday 21st November, 7 pm – 8:30pm, there will an open forum at the Bradley Village hall which you and your families are invited to.
